PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni is among world leaders expected to attend the fifth World Urban Forum to take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil between March 22 and 26.

The forum will discuss sustainable urbanisation, governance and participation, the urban divide, cultural diversity and equal access to shelter.

Brazilian president Lula da Silva is expected to officiate at the opening of the function expected to attract government leaders, mayors, diplomats, members of national, regional and international associations of local governments, non-governmental and community organisations, professionals, women’s organisations, the youth and slum dwellers groups as partners working for better cities.
