THE parliamentary committee on commissions and statutory enterprises has started an investigation into Posta Uganda over complaints from the public that the company staff opens clients’ parcels, reports Madinah Tebajjukira.
The committee chairperson, Reagan Okumu (FDC), explained that according to complaints from the public, parcels coming in from abroad are opened before they reach their recipients.
Okumu said the investigation will also look into complaints from Posta staff that there is nepotism during the recruitment exercise.
