THE United Nations High Commission for Refugees and the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) have suspended road rehabilitation projects in Amuru district after their staff were killed.
Geoffrey Otiiki and Martin Onen, employees of ACTED, were on November 1 shot dead by unknown gunmen at Anaka sub-county in Amuru district.
“Since this tragic incident, all road projects in Amuru have been suspended pending the outcome of Police investigations,” the agencies said on Monday in a joint statement.
