A UPDF soldier in Gulu district is in severe pain after his Congolese wife cut his penis during a weekend domestic brawl.

Bebe Mboli, who is held at the Police station, said she attacked Lt. Amisi Mujubi after he attempted to shoot her using a pistol. The couple has one child.

She said Mujubi wanted to kill her because he thought she had extra-martial affairs with several soldiers. Mujubi was admitted in Gulu Military Barracks.
Mboli is one of the many Congolese women who returned with the UPDF troops from DR. Congo between 2000 and 2002.

Mujubi was attached to the UPDF 39th Battalion in Kitgum district. According to the army, the UPDF officer rents a house in Kasubi parish, Bardege Division.

The officer in charge of crime at Gulu Police Station, Richard Ocheng, said Mboli would be charged with inflicting bodily harm on somebody.
