Save the Children in Uganda has called for the immediate and unconditional release of children and women in captivity by the rebel Lords Resistance Army.

The Deputy Country Director of Save the children in Uganda, John Reinstein says Save the Children in Uganda has been ready to receive 1500 children back from captivity since the start of the peace talks between the government and LRA.

He said it was "unfortunate" they have not received any of the children.
