There hide and seek games with the blood sucker armies!
Gen. Tinyefuza was on Tuesday reacting to Mr Otunnu who on Monday called for an independent inquiry into the killings in Luweero Triangle which bore some of the fiercest fighting between President Museveni’s then National Resistance Army/Movement rebel group and the Uganda National Liberation Army which was the national army under President Milton Obote.

Otunnu: Investigate Luweero massacres
“Tell Otunnu that he should not start to play with the blood of our people. There is politics and treachery and we hope he does not cross the red line,” Gen. Tinyefuza said. “We know what Otunnu has been involved in and I can assure him that if he thinks that he can be a beachhead for Kony in Kampala, he will be crushed and therefore we advise him to stick to his political struggle.”
Gen. Tinyefuza hinted that the former UN diplomat might also have to explain alleged links to the Lord’s Resistance Army rebels that terrorised northern Uganda for about two decades.
Mr Otunnu, who has also accused Museveni’s government of conducting a genocide in northern Uganda said on Monday that he did not care about the outcome of the findings of the Luweero investigation whether they incriminate those outside power or not, but insisted that it must be done.
“I don’t care whether the person who committed the atrocities bears the name of a Muganda, Munyankole or an Acholi; we must have the inquiry done and chips fall,” he told his first press conference as UPC leader on Monday.
But Tinyefuza warned Otunnu “not to take his freedom for granted” and not go overboard.
Debate has been raging on how many people died as a result of the Luweero war that brought Museveni to power in January 1986.
Government estimates have put it at 300, 000 though some critics have questioned it. |

UPC president Olara Otunnu has been thrown out of Kasubi as he attempted to visit the remains of the royal tombs.
The tombs were gutted by fire on Tuesday night.
Otunnu's car wind screen has been smashed. The crowd manhandled him out of the place throwing stones and hurling insults at him.

As this rogue regime gets ever more desperate, it even starts burning down world heritage sites like the Kasubi Tombs.
Can you entrust vagabonds such as these with a free and fair election?
Just listen to that idiot Kulagyiye stating that while the loss of the tombs was 'regretable people should not demonstrate and show grief at the loss of their heritage.'

fdc, upc,dp are diving and sharing the 33% opinion poll. meanwhile nrm is at 43%.
People are going to vote those who made them prospered whether by corruption or clean jurisdiction since 1986 when yk came to power. but this has a wrong morale value and signal. it will not make our democracy mature and encourage the abuse of public finance and offices including commerce and doners money. they would also vote on the alocations of districts showing the shear nut in the head of m7 uniting east africa and africa but dividing his country and people into mini corrupt districts.
meanwhile i would vote for intergrity and solutions of problems by dialogue other than war.
Hoever y k never had any votes during his fronasa days because he was a guerilla and cannot be employed in the UN according to the late yusufu lule.
if upm gained only 1 constituency in the 1980 general elections how comes today it is in the majority? |

| Joseph Pinyitek Othieno is a uselesss candidate used to eat greasy food from london take away authored by An Akwaro on 13. March 2010 at 12:33 |
upc is dead.
THE Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) delegate’s conference yesterday (Friday) kicked off amidst quarrels, tension and blackmail campaigns among the supporters of the various candidates.
Several party members were seen running in circles complaining that their names had removed from the voter register.
“You are impartial. We want transparency. We shall not accept dirty games. By all means we have to register those who had been unfairly excluded,” Martin Ochen Odiek, a former Makerere University UPC guild contestant, shouted at the secretary general, Chris Opoka.
Many people were heard complaining that Opoka had connived with Otunnu’s camp to exclude those who do not support him.
Angered by the remarks, a visibly tensed up Opoka shouted back and ordered the complainants who had flooded his office to vacate.
“I am aware that the real delegates from districts like Moroto and Otuke are missing on the list of Delegates. Many delegates were just handpicked. If our genuine delegates are not registered we shall not allow the voting to take place,” said Ochen, who is known to be Jimmy Akena’s supporter.
By 10:00am hundreds of delegates had flooded the party headquarters at Uganda House. Tensions were high as campaign agents of the various candidates were seen vigorously distributing posters and fliers of their presidential candidates.
Some went around bitterly trading accusations against the candidates. Among these bitter campaigners included top senior party officials like the party office administrator, Kasirye Mayanja, and presidential candidate Joseph Ochieno who told whoever bothered to listen that it would be a disaster to vote former UN diplomat OLara Otunnu as the UPC president.
“Where is Olara Otunnu’s home? Where is his wife? What has he done for UPC? Why did he join the government of Tito Okello if he was not among those who toppled the UPC government? It would be an insult for a man to kill your father and then he asks to be the heir,” Kasirye said.
“We shall not accept Otunnu to takeover UPC. He has no UPC at heart. He is just looking for a job because he is now jobless. UPC has many brains that cannot let him rule the party.”
Kasirye, who is the party’s secretary for districts and constituencies later informed Saturday Vision that although there are eight candidates in the race for the presidency of the party, the race has two main people.
“The race is between Akena and Otunnu. Others are just escorting these two,” Kasirye said.
Without fearing to be quoted, a tensed up Joseph Ochieno alleged that he was confident that Otunnu was part of the plotters of the 1985 coup. But Otunnu has always denied this allegation.
“Francis Bwebgye of DP said in an Observer interview that Otunnu persuaded them to join the pending government of Okello before the coup transpired. I will keep telling the delegates that Otunnu brought UPC in the mess and that he should not be allowed to take us into another mess,” Ochieno said.
Ochieno said he will not accept the results if Otunnu wins. “It is Otunnu’s camp that forced us to go into this election when we have not conducted grassroot elections. They have been doing many dubious things to make Otunnu win through the back door,” he added.
Other UPC campaigners were seen distributing derogatory letters against rival candidates. One letter was alleged that Akena had received money from the NRM party to fail Otunnu’s bid for presidency while another counter letter from Akena’s camp was giving information on how Otunnu frustrated UPC’s continued stay in power.
The party will elect a flag bearer today and its candidate will compete with others for the position of joint opposition candidate.

| what i think about a free and fair electoral process authored by rachkara rogers on 13. March 2010 at 12:26 |
• An election in which the incumbent president and the organs of the State respect the right of citizens to choose freely from the different leaders and programmes on offer.
An election in which the right of constitutional opposition is respected;
• An election in which citizens are free to campaign and vote without intimidation, violence, arrests, abductions and murders by agents of the State, be they from Military Intelligence, DISO’s, the Presidential Protection Unit, Local Defence Units, the army or the “Kalangala Action Plan.”
• An election in which campaigns are free of shameless bribery and the abuse of state funds and state offices, be it by ministers, district commissioners or Major Generals, Brigadiers, Colonels and other officers in the UPDF.
• An election in which there is a competent Electoral Commission which can organise the elections in accordance with the law and democratic principles.
• An election in which the voters registers and voters rolls are displayed properly and in time and cleaned of ghosts and non-eligible voters.
• An election in which there is one gazetted list of polling stations, published in good time, without the creation of hundreds of sham polling stations on the eve of polling day.
• An election in which only eligible voters are in possession of voters cards.
• An election in which only eligible voters vote and voters vote once only and vote during the official voting hours.
• An election in which citizens do not turn up to vote, only to find the ballot boxes already stuffed with illegal votes or to be given pre-ticked ballot papers, or to be told that “your vote has already been cast for you.”
• An election in which there is proper control of ballot papers and voting materials.
• An election in which tallying of votes cast is carried out transparently at
all levels, without the forced expulsion of candidates’ agents from the scene of tallying.
• An election in which the army and security forces are not deployed to intimidate and harass the opposition; in which the constitutional security role of the police can be respected and properly facilitated.
• An election in which the president does not threaten his leading opponent with death and a six-foot grave.
• An election in which the president remains a fountain of honour and does not slander or defame other candidates.
In short, the people of Uganda are entitled to a free and fair election. |

| But we must not succumb to the vices of the thieves and vagabonds....... authored by alotimbitek245 on 7. March 2010 at 03:03 |
My fellow Ugandans, our good friend Kalengera stated the following:
“As I mentioned earlier, don't bother going to vote if you still have that so-called engineer in the electoral chair.”
First we must state here that this statement is wrong and very simplistic. Democracy is not something easy. Ugandans must trust in the process. Kalengera has lost faith in honest Ugandans. This is false. There are many honest Ugandans. We, Ugandans must go to vote, the world will see that we want freedom and will support us.
Please do not listen and follow Kalengera. We are Ugandans and we are not blind. We must read the positions of all the candidates and vote those that are ready to unite us. People are not perfect; but exploiting our failures will mean Uganda will always be left in the dark ages and the Kalengeras will be smiling in the dark corridors for their demented dreams would have been realized.
But we must not succumb to the vices of the thieves and vagabonds. These are the worst kind of Ugandans—their goals are dark and will lead us to nowhere.
Yes, fellow Ugandans, we urge you to vote and huge numbers. Your vote will change Uganda for the better.
Peace.
