| Well although uganda does not have much, its good and humanitarian to give aid to the Katrina Relief fund. They were and are in need, if one can help. It is a sensible step. |

The hands that give are much more blessed than the ones that receive. And in this case, Uganda is signalling that it would be much helpful if it had more capacity to do so. I hope with such a gesture, the International community will consider raising Uganda at a level that can help it extend such a heart to other struggling nations particularly in Africa.
Besides it was not our first time to assist suffering people. Remember the problems in Rwanda, Congo, Sudan, South Africa and Iraq-where we sent our sons to give a hand in restoring democracy/peace. We always send messages of condolenses to important families that lose their dear ones such as the Roman Catholic family in Italy when the Pope rested, Garang's family in Sudan...
Note: Some think in a way that is immature by saying that Uganda is poor to give assistance to USA. I disagree with such people because in cases of danger, everyone involved and affected needs help. Besides did USA complain? |

| nothing long, straight to the point, our music is going through a fantastic period right now, more than ever before, and the people that is representin us overseas and entertaining us here deserve to get more than they are getting due to piracy and all da shady business that goes on within the music industry. i suggest that the government introduces these copyright laws to protect the musicians get what they deserve from their hard work and it is for the better for the future of our music industry! if any1 from the new vision reads this i would appriciate it if they make a push for these laws cos there is so much money to be made from the music boom and im sure it will benefit every1 from the news people to giving hope to undiscovered talent, finding a way out of poverty to lavish living, that is a dream, so help me, not me, the muscians and everyone with a music talent please! everyone would be a winner but corruption if these laws r put into place, thanks again. |
